Tackling Trust
Today I'm starting a new series in my personal quiet time Bible Study. After going through the book of Daniel, I am impressed with the idea of Trusting in God. So I'm going to start a study on the idea of Trust. What does it mean for us to Trust in God? What are the implications from scripture on Trust and how can they be practically applied to our lives todayAssured resting of the mind on theintegrity, veracity, justice, friendship, or other sound principle, of another person; confidence; reliance.
Cridit given; especially delivery of property or merchandise in reliance upon future payment; exchange without immediate receipt of an equivalent.
Assured anticipation; dependance upon something future or contingent, as if present or actual; hope, belief.
I like the idea of "resting of the mind" on the integrity of another person. In our faith this is to rest our minds on the integrity of God, on what he has promised us, and on his character. He has never failed us.
